Layered portals open to show what our body is capable of.
Make an interactive accordion book filled with layered elements. Reminiscent of the paper doll, these silhouette templates will be filled with images, stickers or drawings that celebrate the strength and beauty of our bodies. The accordion book can be opened in different ways, allowing for the creation of completely new associations between the various silhouettes already made.
My Body is Fantastic.
This class was developed after an incident / discussion with a medical provider who commented on what my body looks like before an examination. This lead me to create a journal with the intention of celebrating what my body is capable of rather than how it looks.
This class is a re-release of a class that was on Art Witch Academy.

The Fantastic Body
Using anatomical images, scrap papers, sequins, gel plate prints and stickers, we will make an interactive journal to celebrate your body. The accordion book format allows for endless combinations of figures which adds to the meaning of the overall project.
